Hobbarul

A painfully shy boy named Horace never speaks, not because he is afraid, but because something inside him is listening, waiting, and hungry. As teachers vanish, classmates disappear, and walls begin to breathe, the town explains everything away, accidents, rumours, wild animals, while Horace struggles to hold together a body and a life that no longer quite belong to him. Beneath beds, behind walls, and inside mirrors, an ancient thing stirs, remembering what it was before it learned to wear skin. Hobbarul is a slow-burn psychological horror about silence, identity, and the terrible cost of pretending to be human when the monster underneath is starting to wake.
