Barry Metric was having a bad enough week before he got struck by lightning. Now the weather follows him around Melbourne, rain makes him superhuman, wind turns him unbearably dramatic, thunderstorms make electronics explode, and every weather app on his phone seems to know his name. Then the Bureau of Climate-Based Superhumans arrives, and Barry discovers that being accidentally connected to the atmosphere is apparently a government matter.

With impossible weather spreading across Melbourne, a journalist named Gail Force on his trail, a mysterious villain called Drizzle, and the forecast becoming increasingly personal, Barry may be the only person capable of stopping what is coming. Unfortunately, he has absolutely no idea what he is doing. Barry is a fast, ridiculous superhero comedy where Melbourne weather finally becomes exactly as dangerous, unpredictable, and unreasonable as everyone always suspected.
